6-APDB has been around since the early 1990s, and was synthesized by David E. Nichols while he was looking into MDMA analogs which are non-neurotoxic.
So far its been found that in animal studies, this chemical is the perfect substitute for MBDB and MMAI, although it does not work as a substitute for LSD or amphetamine.
